To: Scot Evans (CEO, ReconAfrica)

Save Our Swamp !

I'm an African. I was born on this continent. Our species started walking upright here.

Throughout history, we have endured the abuse of those who seek to exploit Africa's natural heritage (and her people).

Now, Canada wants a piece ...

We say No !

We request that your company, ReconAfrica, cease and desist from any further drilling or exploration activities in the Okavango Basin catchment area.

Why is this important?

Drilling activities pose a serious threat to the quality of the water entering the Okavango Delta and puts the entire ecosystem at risk, along with the future of its residents, who depend on this "oasis" in the Kalahari Desert.

How it will be delivered

I will cycle there, from Cape Town, and personally (if possible) hand it over at ReconAfrica's office in Rundu, Kavango East, Namibia.
